Professor Ishwar received his Ph.D. in Neuroendocrinology from the National University of Singapore and worked at The Rockefeller University, New York, USA and Nippon Medical School, Tokyo, Japan for 30 years. He returned to Malaysia in 2006 as Professor in Neuroscience and the Founding Director of the Brain Research Institute at Monash University Malaysia. He holds Adjunct Professorships at several Universities in Japan, Sun Yet Sen University in China and The Rockefeller University. Professor Ishwar is an internationally recognized Neuroendocrinologist, who has especially contributed greatly in the field of Reproductive Neuroscience. He has published more than 140 original articles in reputed International Journals and an author and co-author of internationally used books. He is on the Editorial Board of several international journals, and is the Founder President of NeuroMalaysia Society. He is also a scientific advisor to Government bodies. The excellence of his scholarship and scientific achievements have been recognized through several distinctions, fellowships, research grants and awards such as those from the Ministry of Science Japan, Ministry of Science Malaysia, Ministry of Health Malaysia, the Pro-vice Chancellor Research Award Monash University and the Narishige Neuroscience Award Japan. More recently he received the ‘Top Scientist Award’ from the Academy of Science Malaysia.

Prof. Nevzat Tarhan became a Psychiatrist in GATA in 1982. He became a professor of psychiatry in 1996. In 1998, he became the representative of Turkey in Memory Center of America. As Tarhan closely observes the social life due to being a psychiatrist, he makes an accurate analysis of the social life and touches on the importance of "Community Psychology" in every media platform. Prof. Nevzat Tarhan has always targeted investment in people and used his material-spiritual resources towards this direction. He expresses through his actions that he will continue the same objectives until the end of his life, under his approach of the faith. Currently, he is the Founder and Rector of the Üsküdar University and carries out the NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital Chairman of the Board of Directors, which is Turkey's first neuropsychiatry hospital. He has more than 100 publications, of which 31 are internation-al. He speaks English and German.

Dr. Konstantia Stoforou is a Neurosurgeon who specializes in general neurosurgery with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery of the brain and spine. She has more 20 years of experience in the field of Neurosurgery. Dr. Konstantia Stoforou is currently the Director at NeuroCure, Greece. Her clinical interest includes Neurosurgical Oncology of Brain, Spine, Skull Base, Endoscopic Pituitary Surgery and Skull Base, Microsurgery, Neuroendoscopy, Spinal Neuromodulation for Pain Surgery, Gamma Knife Radiation. In 2003, she was co-author in two chapters in a book named "Neoplasms - Cranial Base Tumors," "Skull Base Surgery" and extensively many publications in the field of Neurosurgery.

I am Dr. Mojtaba Mafi M.D., Medical Doctor/ Physician, graduated from Tehran university, School of Medicine with honor. I studied in neurosurgery ward and graduated with A score with thesis on Meningioma Brain Tumor during 6 years. With continuing my practice with special consideration on psychosomatic disorders, I completed many post graduate courses on health psychology, addiction medicine, sexual disorders therapy successfully. I passed many post graduate courses in Neuro, approved by Medical sciences university. As well, I have been passed post graduate courses on Nutrition, Gastroenterology and hepatology, Obesity treatment and diabetes approved by Tehran University of Medical sciences. I successfully passed more than 10 programs with certificates and membership in Iranian Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Having honor of working as associate of Iran Hepatitis Network and Gastroenterology and Hepatology research center, Middle East Liver Diseases Center (MELD).

Dr. Taylor joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Genetics in the Department of Biology in the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology at Jackson State University. While at JSU, Dr. Taylor is a Research Center for Minority Investigators (RCMI) faculty member, a graduate and undergraduate student advisor, mentor, and professor. She obtained her PhD in Microbiology from Indiana University, a Masters of Science degree in Biology, from Jackson State University, and her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Tougaloo College. She was a Fellowship in Research and Science Teaching (FIRST) postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Neurology.

Her current research focus is determining the role of signal transducer activator of transcription 3 (STAT-3) on the regeneration of nerve tissue and functional recovery after focal ischemic stroke.

Muhammad Akbar MALIK was born in a very small villa, on the eastern brim of River Chinab, just 5 Km from Maralah Barrage, without any barrier between the purest natural water the river and my village. He got his Medical Education from Lahore, was trained in Lahore and got highest qualification in the field of pediatrics. He went to Ireland and passed his MRCPI in the field of paediatric. Then he moved to UK and Ireland and was trained in Pediatric Neurology. He established the first teaching pediatric neurology and neurophysiology department. He is currently working as the Chairperson charity program Top-Down-Bottom-Up-Childhood-Epilepsy-Prom with aspiration to bridge the treatment gap of childhood epilepsy in outreach and financially constrained communities in Pakistan. He has received medical degree from Allam Iqbal Medical College Lahore, Pakistan. His interest in Neurology began medical school. Neurology cases were like solving a puzzle when he was trying to localize the lesion. Later on, he learned that Neurology and sorting out this in financially constrained settings.

MALIK,s interests include Clinical and translational research especially in the field of autoimmune epilepsy and epileptic encephalopathy. His ambition is to provide free childhood epilepsy services at door steps outreach financially constrained communities, irrespective of faith in Pakistan.

Arturo Solis-Herrera is specialized in ophthalmology at the UNAM, accrediting various courses at the Hospital Conde Valenciana and the National Institute of Neurology. In the year 1982, Dr. Solís Herrera began working in the state of Aguascalientes, where worked at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes and the Mexican Institute of Social Security. The private practice of ophthalmology of Dr. Solis Herrera, to start in the year of 1990, observational, descriptive research; about the morphological changes in the tiny blood vessels that come in and out of the optic nerve and its possible correlation with the three leading causes of blindness in Mexico and the world: Glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. This study culminated twelve years later and included retina photographs of six thousand patients; with the discovery of the unsuspected intrinsic property of melanin to transform visible light into chemical energy, through the dissociation of the water molecule, such as chlorophyll, in plants. Also, already dedicated to private practice and research of melanin, Dr. Solis Herrera obtained the degree of master’s in medical sciences at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes and later the doctorate in Pharmacology (toxicology) in the University of Guadalajara.

Yehuda Shoenfeld is the founder and head of the Zabludowicz Center for Autoimmune Diseases, at the Sheba Medical Center, which is affiliated to the Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel-Aviv University in Israel. Professor Shoenfeld’s clinical and scientific works focus on autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, and he has published more than 1750 papers in journals such as New Eng J Med, Nature, The Lancet, Proc Nat Acad Scie, J Clin Invest, J Immunol, Blood, FASEB, J Exp Med, Circulation, Cancer and others. Professor Shoenfeld is on the editorial boards of 43 journals in the fields of rheumatology and autoimmunity and is the founder and the editor of the IMAJ (Israel Medical Association Journal), the representative journal of science and medicine in the English language in Israel, and also is the founder and Editor of Autoimmunity Reviews (Elsevier) (Impact factor 7.9) and co-Editor of the Journal of Autoimmunity (Impact factor 8). For the past twenty years Yehuda has been the Editor of “Harefuah” – The Israel Journal in Medicine (Hebrew).
